The University's Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity with a Major in Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity received the AICyber validation, while the Master of Science in Cybersecurity with a concentration in AI Security was validated for the SecureAI program. These programs are validated through 2030, showcasing the University's commitment to long-term excellence in cybersecurity education.

Old Dominion University is one of only ten higher education institutions in the nation, and the only one in Virginia, to have earned all three of NSA's Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) designations. The School of Cybersecurity at Old Dominion University has grown significantly since its inception in 2015, enrolling approximately 1,700 students this fall and graduating over 1,500 alumni.
