Snowflake (NYSE:SNOW) is a cloud computing company that provides a data platform for businesses. It allows organizations to store and analyze large volumes of data. The company actively competes with firms like Databricks to help enterprises use their data for artificial intelligence (AI) applications and growth.
Reflecting strong performance, analyst firm Goldman Sachs maintains its Buy rating on Snowflake. On September 3, 2026, the firm also raised its price target to $436.00 from $300.00. This update was issued when the stock was trading at $356.47 per share, suggesting significant potential upside.
This positive outlook is supported by strong second-quarter results for fiscal 2027. The company's product revenues increased by 37% to $1.49 billion, while total revenues grew 35.1% to $1.55 billion. Both figures surpassed analyst expectations, showing robust financial health and operational success.
A key driver for this growth is the high demand for AI products. According to CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy, AI contributed to about half of the company's performance. The rapid adoption of its AI coding agent, Coco, which now serves over 9,100 accounts, highlights this trend.
Other analysts share this optimism. Bank of America also reiterated a Buy rating and increased its price objective to $470.00, as highlighted by Proactive Investors. The bank notes that product revenue growth is accelerating, and newer customers are adopting Snowflake's services more quickly than previous groups.
