MasterCraft Boat Holdings (NASDAQ: MCFT) designs, manufactures, and markets recreational powerboats through brands including MasterCraft, Crest, Balise, Chaparral, and Robalo. The company reports through its Performance and Wake, Leisure, and Recreation and Sport Fishing segments.
MasterCraft reported fiscal fourth-quarter 2026 net sales of $129.94 million, up from $79.52 million in the prior-year period. The result exceeded the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 8.96%. The company also reported adjusted earnings of $0.67 per share, beating the Zacks estimate of $0.61 and rising from $0.40 per share a year earlier.
However, the earnings figure should be described as adjusted rather than GAAP. On a GAAP basis, MasterCraft reported a loss from continuing operations of $7.0 million, or $0.35 per diluted share, compared with income of $5.5 million, or $0.33 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter. The GAAP loss reflected a $10.1 million non-cash impairment charge in the Leisure segment and acquisition-related costs tied to the Marine Products transaction.
The company’s revenue growth was partly driven by the Marine Products transaction, which added the Recreation and Sport Fishing segment and contributed $33.3 million of net sales during the quarter. Excluding that contribution, net sales still increased by $17.1 million, or 21.5%, from the prior-year period. Performance and Wake net sales rose 28.3% year over year, while Leisure net sales declined 11.2%.
For fiscal 2026, MasterCraft reported net sales of $348.9 million, up 22.8% from fiscal 2025. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $45.6 million, compared with $24.4 million in the prior year, while adjusted earnings were $1.76 per share, up from $0.92. The company said the improvement was supported by higher sales, cost controls, increased unit volumes, pricing, favorable model mix, and the Marine Products contribution.
Looking ahead, MasterCraft expects consolidated net sales of $287 million to $291 million for its six-month transition period ending December 31, 2026. The company also guided for adjusted EBITDA of $29 million to $32 million and adjusted earnings of $0.66 to $0.76 per share during that period.
Recent market data showed MasterCraft trading around $19.50 per share. The company’s market capitalization was approximately $478 million, based on recent quoted market data, though some market-data providers may vary because of share-count updates following the Marine Products transaction.
