NeoVolta sells residential energy storage systems and is expanding into commercial and utility-scale markets. On September 23, 2026, it reported results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended June 30. Fourth-quarter revenue fell from approximately $4.8 million a year earlier to $13,460. NeoVolta attributed the sales decline to weaker demand through its residential and traditional installer channels following changes to federal tax law.
The fourth-quarter net loss widened to $11.7 million from $1.6 million a year earlier. NeoVolta said the increase was driven primarily by a $3.9 million provision for credit losses and bad debt expenses and a $1.1 million reserve for obsolete residential inventory. These costs help explain why the loss grew beyond the effect of lower sales.
For the full fiscal year, revenue increased from $8.4 million to $13.3 million as NeoVolta expanded beyond its historical residential business. That full-year growth can coexist with a very weak final quarter because it reflects sales across all four quarters. Looking ahead, the company is preparing to ramp up production at its Georgia facility. Its signed agreement with SK On covers 9 gigawatt-hours of battery cells over five years; a further 9 gigawatt-hours is part of a broader collaboration framework, not the signed supply commitment.
