Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (NYSE: PAC) operates 14 airports and the Cross Border Xpress border terminal. It earns money from airport services, passenger-related charges and businesses it operates directly. PAC reported third-quarter earnings before the market opened on October 20, 2026.
PAC earned $2.66 per share, below the $2.72 estimate. Revenue was $632.90 million, compared with the $653.30 million estimate. Both figures missed expectations, even though the company reported higher revenue and profitability than a year earlier.
Passenger traffic fell 1.4% from a year earlier to about 18.40 million, a smaller decline than the 5.6% drop in the second quarter. Revenue excluding construction services rose 13.2%. As highlighted by Seeking Alpha, non-aeronautical services and the Cross Border Xpress acquisition helped drive revenue growth.
EBITDA, a measure of earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, rose 19.2% to MXN 6.10 billion. The EBITDA margin excluding IFRIC 12 effects reached 67.8%, up 350 basis points, or 3.50 percentage points. CEO Raúl Revuelta cautioned that the smaller traffic decline does not mean a broad recovery is underway.
