The purchase comes as CVS plans to separate its retail pharmacy business by the first half of 2028. CVS reports third-quarter 2026 revenue of $108.40 billion, up 5.40%, and adjusted earnings per share of $2.09, up 30.70%. It expects full-year 2026 adjusted earnings of at least $8.20 per share. Adjusted earnings exclude certain items to show what the company considers its underlying performance.

A sum-of-the-parts analysis values a company by estimating what its businesses are worth separately.
